Saloon, TX, is a social news site focused on what’s happening with Texas music and major Texas artists. On a certain level, this is an experimental site — and we all know what happens to some experiments(!). As opposed to most online destinations, we aren’t planning to write most of the material you will find here. Instead, we capitulate. We understand that news, information and fan-generated content already lives all over the web, so we’re building in feeds and hooks that we hope will make it easier to follow these disparate resources.
Of course, we will write a lot of the material you’ll find here. Can’t help ourselves — we have likes and dislikes and are all too compelled to share them.
